Esteqlal Tehran Football Club announced that the Asian Football
Confederation Wednesday evening approved the application put in by
Estaqlal Club to host the Asian Cup finals. The Asian Cup finals shall be held on 24-26 March 2002 with participation of four teams in Tehran massive Azadi Stadium. The competitions program is as follows: Wednesday 3rd April: Esteqlal of Tehran - Anyang of South Korea Swan Samsung of South Korea - Nasaf Karsi of Uzbekistan Friday 5th April: The match for third and fourth place The final between winners of the Wednesday matches |
