Tasnim - Iranian free-agent midfielder Soroush Rafiei reached an initial agreement with Al-Khor Sports Club of Qatar.
Rafiei joined Persepolis in January on a six-month contract and played 14 matches for the Iranian giant, scoring four goals.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder will sign a contract with Al-Khor on Thursday, Qatari newspaper Al-Watan wrote.
According to the newspaper, Rafiei shone for Persepolis in the AFC Champions League.
Soroush Rafiei has made five appearances for the Iranian national football team.
Persepolis has signed a two-year contract with Paykan midfielder Siamak Nemati.
