Paatoop - Despite an early goal from Ghoochannejhad, Heerenveen suffered a 5-1 defeat against Ajax in Amsterdam.
A pass from Larsson was converted into a goal by Reza Gucci Ghoochannejhad, in only the eighth minute of action.
However, the goals from the home-team started pouring into Heerenveen’s net in the 24th minute, when Viergever started the scoring for Ajax.
Heerenveen is now eighth in the Eredivisie, with 40 points from 31 matches; they will host Willem II on April 21st.
With this goal, Ghoochannejhad is now the second best scorer in the Dutch top division, with 18 goals.
