Tehrantimes - Farhad Kazemi has been appointed as new head coach of Machine Sazi football team on Saturday.
The former Siahjamegan coach replaced Rasoul Khatibi in Tabriz-based team.
Under tutelage of Khatibi, Machine Sazi secured promotion to the Iran Professional League (IPL) last season.
The team won just one match in IPL after 13 weeks, suffered nine defeats, and drawn three times.
Farhad Kazemi, Yahya Golmohammadi, and Toni Oliveira were among the candidates.
Kazemi, who started his coaching career in Bahman in 1995, has coached many clubs in Iran. Most of which have been in the Premier division. He managed to have a very successful spell at Sepahan from 2002 to 2005.
