Tasnim - Iran national football team will play a friendly match with Morocco, according to a Moroccan news website.

The match will be held in Dubai, the UAE, on January 6, Alyaoum24 reported.

Iran, preparing for a match against Qatar in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification on March 23, is going to arrange a friendly match with the Ivory Coast in its UAE’s training camp as well.

The Morocco national football team, nicknamed the Atlas Lions, will also meet Finland in Dubai as part of its preparation for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which will take place in Gabon from January 14 to February 5.

Iran tops Group A with 11 points, followed by South Korea and Uzbekistan.
