Tasnim - Iran defeated Nigeria 1-0 in the U-19 Football Tournament 2016 in South Korea on Wednesday.
Reza Shekari scored Iran’s sole goal in the 78th minute.
Amirhossein Peyrovani’s boys had lost to South Korea 3-1 in their opening match.
Iran will face England on Saturday in its last match.
The tournament has brought four teams namely, South Korea, Iran, Nigeria and England together.
The four-a-side competition is part of the teams’ preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017.
Iran has already booked a place in the competition along with Japan, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam after advancing to the AFC U-19 Championship semi-final in Bahrain.
