FIFA Futsal World Cup: Iran Beaten by Spain [VIDEO]

Tasnim - Spain opened the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup campaign with a win against Iran on Monday.


The Two-time world champion defeated highly-regarded Asian champion Iran 5-1 in Medellin, Colombia.

Spain will play fellow Group F opening victor Azerbaijan next up, while Iran will have the chance to atone against Morocco.

The 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup is the 8th edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.

The tournament is being held in Colombia from 10 September to 1 October 2016.
