Iran U-17 Football Comes Third at Kazakhstan President Cup

Tasnim - Iran’s U-17 football team defeated Albania to finish in third place at the Kazakhstan President Cup on Friday.


The Iranian team beat its rival 2-0 thanks to Taha Shariati and Aref Mohammadalipour.

The ninth edition of Kazakhstan President Cup started in Shymkent, Kazakhstan on August 7 and finished on August 13.

Kazakhstan President Cup is an annual international U-17 football tournament held under the aegis of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan and FIFA.

The first edition took place in April 2008 and Turkey Besiktas won the title.
