TEHRANTIMES - Seyyed Reza Eftekhari has been appointed as acting president of Esteghlal football club.
Eftekhari, who currently is also head of Iran's futsal committee, replaced Bahram Afsharzadeh in Esteghlal.
Afsharzadeh was appointed as Esteghlal’s acting president in May 2014 but was forced to leave his post because he works two jobs.
Iran's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports appointed Reza Hassanikhou as Esteghlal acting president but he retired from the new role just after two days.
It's a chaotic season for Esteghlal since the team has lost two times in three games.
Esteghlal is 15th in the Iran Professional League.
