TEHRANTIMES - Italian striker Michele Paolucci, who has started his career at Juventus, has been linked with a move to Iranian club Persepolis, according to reports in the local media.
Persepolis head coach Branko Ivankovic is looking for a replacement for striker Mehdi Taremi, who left the Reds to join Turkish side Rizespor.
The 30-year old Italian striker has previously played at Juventus, Udinese, Atalanta, Catania and Palermo. He has also played at all of Italy’s youth ranks teams.
Taremi, who finished top scorer in the Iranian league, was one of key members of Branko Ivankovic’s team who nearly missed the title and finished second on the goal difference in the IPL 2015-16 season.
Persepolis has already signed Antony Golec, Sasan Ansari, Ehsan Alvanzadeh, Alireza Beyranvand, Mohammad Aram Tab, Vahid Amiri and Jalal Hosseini in the transfer market.
