Tasnim - Former Iran and Persepolis goalkeeper Sosha Makani is set to join Norwegian football team Mjondalen IF.

The goalie has participated in the team’s training.

“We have been watching him for a while and I think he is an interesting goalkeeper,” MIFs sports director Kenneth Karlsen said.

Sosha Makani was a member of Persepolis football team in the last two season.

The 29-year-old shot-stopper has made three appearances for the Iranian national team (also known as Team Melli) as well.

Makani has been suspended from playing football for six months in Iran for ‘inappropriate conduct’.
