TEHRANTIMES - Tractor Sazi football club has announced the signing of Iraqi attacking midfielder Karrar Jassim on a one year contract on Wednesday.

“I’m happy to be back at Tractor Sazi. Tabriz is my favorite place in Iran and I love the fans. I hope I could play my best football and make the fans happy,” Karrar said.

Karrar, who had a two-year spell at the club from 2009 to 2011, became one of the most popular non-Iranian players of Tabriz based club among the fans.

He scored 13 goals in 48 appearances for the club in all competition. He moved to Esteghlal in the summer of 2011 and now after five years he returns to Tractor Sazi.

He is the fifth signing of Amir Ghalenoei’s team alongside Hadi Mohammadi, Edinho, Mohsen Bengar and Mohammad Ebrahimi.
