Akbar Pourmousavi New Head Coach of Esteghlal Khuzestan

Tasnim - Akbar Pourmousavi was appointed new head coach of Iran Professional League (IPL) reigning champion Esteghlal Khuzestan on Wednesday.


Pourmousavi was Abdollah Veisi’s assistant in Esteghlal Khuzestan last season.

He will be assisted by Sirous Nematinejhad and Farshad Bakhtiarizadeh in Ahvaz based football team.

Veisi left Esteghlal Khuzestan for Sepahan after he inspired the team to win IPL for the first time in history.

Esteghlal Khuzestan will represent Iran in the next season’s AFC Champions League.
