Tasnim - The Iranian national football team will play friendly against Macedonia on June 3.
The match will be held in Skopje as part of Iran’s preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification.
Iran has been drawn with South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Syria and China in Group A.
Team Melli was originally scheduled to meet Norway in a friendly after two federations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to intensify the development process of the sport in both the countries but the match was called off.
Iran is the highest-ranked squad in Asia and 42nd in the world while Macedonia’s world ranking is 141.
