Iran Futsal Captain Keshavarz Undergoes Knee Surgery

Tasnim - Iranian national futsal team's captain Mohammad Keshavarz underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery on Sunday to repair a torn meniscus.


Keshavarz injured in the match against Iraq in the 2016 AFC Futsal Championships in February in Uzbekistan.

Keshavarz can start his light training from Monday.

He will be a key member of Iran futsal team in the 2016 World Cup which will be held in Colombia from September 10 to October 1.
