Tasnim - Esteghlal Ahvaz football team was relegated from Iran Professional League (IPL) after losing to Persepolis on Friday.

Esteghlal Ahvaz was defeated against IPL leader Persepolis 2-0 at the Takhti Stadium.

The Ahvaz-based team has suffered 18 defeats in the current league and just won two matches.

Persepolis, Esteghlal and Esteghlal Khuzestan will vie for the title while Siahjamegan and Rah Ahan will keep fighting to avoid IPL relegation.
