Tasnim - Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Esteghlal Khuzestan and Naft Tehran played out a goalless draw on Thursday.

In the match held in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium, Esteghlal Khuzestan failed to extend lead at top of table.

The Ahvaz-based team remains top with 47 points two points ahead of Esteghlal and Persepolis.

The Iranian popular teams Esteghlal and Persepolis have been scheduled to meet on Friday and the winner of the match will move top of the table.

Elsewhere, Zob Ahan of Isfahan was held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Rah Ahan.

Also, Sepahan of Isfahan drew 1-1 with rock-bottom Esteghlal Ahvaz, Padideh defeated Gostaresh Foolad 2-1, Tractor Sazi of Tabriz was held to a 1-1 draw by Saba and Saipa drew 1-1 with Siahjamegan.
