PTV - Iranian professional football club Persepolis has realized a fevered dream of a six-year-old hemophiliac boy and symbolically named the child as its chairman in a philanthropic move praised by sports authorities and athletes.

The boy, identified as Abolfazl Khansari, appeared at the team’s practice at Derafshi Far Athletic and Cultural Club in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Saturday, and held a meeting with the incumbent Persepolis chairman Ali Akbar Taheri.

Khansari then symbolically took a number of decisions aimed at improving Persepolis performance at Persian Gulf Pro League, before he met the club’s manager Branko Ivanković along with all footballers on the field.

The six-year-old hemophiliac boy subsequently blasted a penalty kick, and Persepolis goalkeeper Sosha Makani let the ball go inside and kiss the net. Makani presented his goalkeeper gloves to Khansari after the goal.

Khansari finally took a number of photographs with Persepolis players, before saying goodbye to them and leaving Derafshi Far Athletic and Cultural Club.
