TEHRANTIMES - Former Persepolis and Esteghlal players came together on Tuesday to organize a soccer match in memories of late Homayoun Behzadi and Reza Ahadi.

Sorkhabi (Red and Blue) team played against Resaneh Varzesh (Iranian sports journalists) in Tehran’s Dastgerdi Stadium.

The match finished tied at 3-3.

Former Iran national team and Persepolis striker Behzadi died at age 73 after losing his battle with lung disease in late January.

Ahadi, former Esteghlal midfielder, also passed away of kidney disease at the age of 53 in January.
