TEHRANTIMES - Iran Under-19 football team has been invited to England for two friendly matches with England U-19 team.

The Iranian team is preparing for the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship which will be held in Bahrain from October 13 to 30.

“We have been invited to play two warm-up matches with England at the end of the March but with about one month remaining, we are not sure if our visas will be issued,” Iran coach Amir Hossein Peyrovani said.

“I think to play England football team could help us since they have a unique style in Europe and in the world. I hope we can travel to England since I think we can take advantage of these two matches,” he added.

Iran coach also said that they are weighing up to hold a 10-day training camp in Germany in June.

Iran will play three friendly matches in the camp, Peyrovani stated.
