Tasnim - Persepolis of Tehran's acting-president Ali-Akbar Taheri has confirmed his club is eager to begin negotiations with Branko Ivankovic in order to renew the coach’s contract for two more years.
Ivankovic was appointed as Persepolis coach in last year’s April on an 18-month contract.
The 61-year-old Croat coach replaced Hamid Derakhshan in the Iranian popular team.
“We are delighted with Branko and his work in Persepolis. He is eager to extend his contract,” Taheri said.
Persepolis sits fourth in Iran Professional League.
