TEHRANTIMES - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz ruled out the speculation of his joining Egypt's Al Ahly.

Media reports suggest that the Egyptian team attempts to sign the Portuguese as its new head coach.

“I don’t care about the speculation. The Iranian Professional League has started once again and we must enjoy the competition,” Queiroz said.

Asked him about his presence in Doha during the AFC U-23 Championship, Queiroz said, “I traveled to Qatar to meet the Asian Football Confederation’s officials over development of the Asian countries. I also met the Iranian players and coaches in Doha.”
