Tasnim - Saba football team defeated Persepolis of Tehran to win the 2016 Shohada Cup.

In the match held at the Shahre Qods Stadium in Tehran Saba defeated Persepolis 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mohammad Ghazi in the 64th minute.

Persepolis midfielder Kamal Kamyabinia was sent off in the 84th minute after receiving his second yellow card.

On Monday, Saipa defeated Zob Ahan 3-2 in penalty shootout after a goalless draw to finish in third place in the friendly 4-a-side tournament.
